This performance lightweight suit has no thermal lining inside, but is instead made up of double-lined neoprene. This makes it super stretchy and perfect for the warmer weather over the summer months. The stitched seam sits nice and close when relaxed, but uncoils when stretched to allow for optimum mobility and performance. A definite frontrunner in the summer wetsuit category, Rip Curl, you’ve done it again!
This suit was actually introduced by O'Neill in their range last year, but it’s so popular I feel it deserves another mention. It’s made of 100% neoprene, making it very lightweight. What I particularly like about this suit is the trademark chest zip, which is actually pretty rare on an entry-level wetsuit. It’s available as both a long-sleeved and short-sleeved full suit, as well as a shorty, so you can find the perfect style for your surfing needs. Overall, a very niche yet popular find, with great value for money.
Roxy has to be up there as a leading swimsuit brand, and whilst the company has historically harnessed an image as being quite fashion-focused, you can rest assured that their latest releases have really upped their technical game and are very much performance-focused. This Roxy Syncro Series wetsuit is very comfortable thanks to its soft neoprene lining, and the range comes in various colours and designs, so you can enhance your performance in style!
